“Pause exhibition” from Falmouth University to London.

“is interesting for the passion artists put in doing their works”
“Pause Exhibition” opens at Blackall Studios in Shoreditch, London, organized by a collective of fifteen recent graduates of the Fine Art BA Hons course at Falmouth University College.
What is the main issue for a beginner artist today? The lack of everything, except the passion. From Falmouth in Cornwall this collective has decided to move to London to have more opportunities to show their works. They had to raise some money through the internet to finance their very first exhibition: London is expensive and materials too. But they were able to do it.
“Pause Exhibition” is interesting for the passion artists put in doing their works, showing interesting witty ideas. They have come together to showcase their current work in London during summer 2012. It is a challenge to the faltering Olympic Games.
Works on display are a miscellaneous of painting and print, appropriation, animation, sculpture and drawing. Therefore, “Pause exhibition” is an involving range of contemporary artwork. Being a first exhibition of post graduates, the name ‘Pause’ has been chosen because it reflects where the artists are at this point of their lives which means contemplating making art after Falmouth University.
As the Government seems to have forgotten some sectors, this website is very proud to lend a
hand – for what it is in our possibilities. “Pause exhibition” is their first exhibition post degree and an impressive first foray into professional art practice.
“Pause Exhibition” artists are the following: Reece Balfour, Charlotte Bownass, Norman Buchan, Abi Burt (www.abigailburt.co.uk), Michael Davies (mikedaviestra.blogspot.com), Lizz Dobinson (lizzdobinson.webs.com), Michael Dryden (michaeldrydenart.blogspot.com), Jonathan Gooch, Sophie Ingram (sophieabigailingram.tumblr.com), Hayley Jones, Ellie Lawlor (ellielawlor.blogspot.com), Becky Lewis (beckyart.wordpress.com), Rhys Partridge (rhyspartridge.blogspot.co.uk), Ed Sanders.
