3018 exhibition, Jealous Gallery and Saatchi Gallery winning pair.

London – After a very successful period at Jealous Gallery East, the “Jealous Needs You” project is opening at Saatchi Gallery, London, becoming the new exhibition “3018: The Jealous Needs You Project”.

On 1st August 2018, in fact, the Saatchi Gallery has opened the exhibition “3018: The Jealous Needs You Project” in its Prints & Originals Gallery.

The exhibition “3018: The Jealous Needs You Project” features thirty new works of art by thirty different emerging artists. All the works are prints measuring 55 x 75cm and each print is priced at only £125 to maximise the opportunity for people to buy exciting new contemporary art. The prints are priced unframed and are each editions of 36.

Each artist has collaborated with the Jealous Print Studio, London, to produce a limited edition of 36 signed and numbered prints. The 30 artists were selected as part of the ‘Jealous Needs You’ programme which openly invited submissions from artists in the UK and abroad.

The works cover a variety of styles and subjects. From surreal collages to calm abstraction and from emotive expressionism to cool detachment, the prints represent a snapshot of art being produced in London and beyond.

The Saatchi Gallery was founded in 1985 to provide a platform to bring contemporary art to as wide an audience as possible and make it accessible. Over the last five years the Saatchi Gallery has hosted 15 out of the 20 most visited exhibitions in London, according to The Art Newspaper’s survey of international museum attendance. Entry to all exhibitions at the Saatchi Gallery is free.

Jealous is a contemporary gallery, print publisher and printing studio, based in Shoreditch, East London, with Jealous North Gallery in Crouch End, London. They are known for their collaborative approach to producing high quality limited edition prints with many artists, galleries, designers and museums.
